Your use of this forum requires that you agree to be bound by ALL of the following terms, in addition to the terms of the internet hosting company, to the fullest extent permitted under New Zealand law. Your reading, storage or transmission of any part of any message from the forum other than these terms constitutes use, and your complete acceptance of these terms.

1) You agree to hold harmless and indemnify all past, present and future administrators and hosts of this forum against any legal actions or claims that might be facilitated by your reading or disseminating or contributions to any of the content of forum messages.
2) You agree that this is an UNMODERATED forum – meaning that posts are not pre-screened or selected for appropriateness before they appear, but that posts may be subsequently edited or deleted by the administrator should a breach of these terms be brought to the administrator's attention.
3) You agree that all messages in the private forum area are intended for a PRIVATE audience, consisting exclusively of subscribers who are registered architects or other approved professionals who are independently expert and capable of assessing for themselves the accuracy of any opinions, claims or statements made, but that some readers of other areas may not have these competencies
4) You agree to take all reasonable steps to ensure that no potentially offensive or misleading or defamatory message is disseminated via public forum areas or otherwise to non subscribers.
5) You agree that messages on this forum represent only the views of the individuals making them, and only at that point in time. They do not represent the views of the administrator or host of this forum, or of any organizations or groups that the individuals belong to.
6) You agree that messages on this forum are typically of an informal and conversational nature, may reflect passionate and evolving debate and opinion over controversial issues, and may contain language or other content that is not suitable for all audiences, and that no message should be construed or relied upon as containing fully considered professional advice, opinion, or even confirmed fact. 7) You agree not to use the forum to routinely advertise or solicit business. Occasional brief posts as to availability of resources directly relevant to architectural practice, such architectural books, staff and equipment may be accepted. Acceptable use will be at the discretion of the forum administrator.
8) You agree your posts to the forum will remain at all times consistent with the NZ Architect's Code of Ethics and will not introduce ad hominem attacks, accusations of any sort that are not accompanied by reasonable evidence, excessive rudeness, slander, privacy violations, rumour spreading, misquotation, misrepresentation or dishonesty.
9) You agree that any person who feels they or their organisation or group has been unfairly characterised on this forum has a right of reply to this forum, and if not a subscriber, may send their reply to the administrator for posting to the forum.
10) You agree that should you or your organisation or group feel unfairly characterised, mislead or otherwise harmed by messages from this forum, that you will follow the following sequence towards resolution; You will in the first instance discuss, debate and otherwise attempt resolution of the issue in good faith using the forum or privately with the authors of the messages concerned. If this does not result in a resolution satisfactory to you, you may then lodge a complaint about those individuals with the administrator of this forum and/or any professional body that the individuals concerned belong to. Only in the event that these processes have been exhausted without satisfactory conclusion may you pursue any legal remedy, and you agree that the scope of any claim pursued will be expressly limited and guided by these terms of use.
11) You agree that your continued use of this forum and the data it contains is at the absolute discretion of the administrator, and that your access may be reduced or revoked at any time, without warning and for any reason. Reasons for loss of access may include but are not limited to: technical malfunction, administrative error, failure to comply with any of these terms or other requests made by the administrator, or any aspect of your professional status that might put you outside the intended characteristics for subscribers at that time. Should you find that you have lost access, you may contact the administrator to request an explanation.
